The picture you can see here is a copy of pages from the book "Romania Judaism in a struggle for it rescuing" by Theodor Levie that was published by "Yad Vashem" and immigrants union.

My grandfather Pinhas Haikies is mentoined as member at the "Dror" (Hebrew word for freedom) movement which signed on a report from "Butushani" that tells that the local synagogue became an "Aulam" - which is the place where the movement's meetings and conversations are taking place.

More is written that the reports are written in a secret code and that the synagogue is the safest place to act in.
